Create Workspace

Overview
A workspace is an isolated environment within your organization where you connect data sources, build datasets, configure audiences, and activate data. You can belong to multiple workspaces across one or more organizations. The Workspaces page is the first screen you see after signing in it lists all organizations and workspaces you have access to.
You must belong to an organization before you can create a workspace. If no organization is available in the Select Organization dropdown, contact your Organization Admin to be added to one.
Accessing the Workspaces Page
After signing in to Sourcesible, you land on the Workspaces page showing all organizations and workspaces you have access to. Workspaces are grouped under their parent organization. Click any workspace row to open it directly.
To create a new workspace, click the + New Workspace button in the top-right corner of the Workspaces page.
Creating a Workspace
Open the Create Form
Click + New Workspace. Sourcesible navigates to the Create a new workspace page. A Cancel button appears in the top-right corner if you want to exit without saving.
Fill In the Details
In the Workspace Name field, enter a descriptive name for the workspace (maximum 50 characters). The character counter in the field shows your current count against the limit (e.g., 0/50).
In the Select Organization dropdown, choose the organization this workspace will belong to. The dropdown lists all organizations you are a member of. Click Please select to open the dropdown and choose the correct organization.
If you belong to multiple organizations, make sure to select the correct one a workspace cannot be moved between organizations after it is created.
Confirm
Click Confirm to create the workspace. Sourcesible creates the workspace and redirects you to the Workspaces page, where the new workspace appears under its organization. Click the workspace row to open it and begin configuration.
Next Steps
Connect a Data Source Navigate to Data Sources in the left sidebar to connect your first warehouse or ad platform source.
Create a Dataset Navigate to Datasets to define which tables from your connected source to make available for analysis.
Invite team members Go to Organization Settings → Members to invite colleagues to the organization and assign them to the workspace.
Tips and Troubleshooting
Select Organization Dropdown Is Empty
Symptom: The Select Organization dropdown shows no options when clicked.
Cause: Your account has not been added to any organization yet.
Fix: Contact your Organization Admin and ask to be added to the organization. Once added, return to Create a new workspace the organization will appear in the dropdown.
Workspace Name Already in Use
Symptom: After clicking Confirm, a validation error appears indicating the workspace name is already taken.
Cause: A workspace with the same name already exists within the selected organization.
Fix: Enter a unique name. Consider including context such as team, environment, or purpose to distinguish it for example, Marketing - Production or Analytics - Staging.
New Workspace Does Not Appear After Creation
Symptom: After clicking Confirm, you are returned to the Workspaces page but the new workspace is not listed.
Cause: A transient loading issue may have prevented the list from refreshing.
Fix: Refresh the page. If the workspace still does not appear, verify in Organization Settings → Billing & Usage that the workspace was created by clicking View all Workspace.
